About
OBD Fusion is an app that allows you to read OBD2 vehicle data directly from your Android phone or tablet. You can clear your check engine light, read diagnostic trouble codes, estimate fuel economy and much more! OBD Fusion has a ton of features that are used by professional car mechanics, do-it-yourselfers, and users who want to monitor car data during day to day driving. Some of the features include customizable dashboards, real-time graphing of vehicle sensors, emission readiness status, data logging and exporting, oxygen sensor tests, Boost readout, and a full diagnostic report. Is your check engine light on? Do you want to monitor fuel economy and usage in your vehicle? Do you want cool looking gauges on your Android phone or tablet? If so, then OBD Fusion is the app for you! OBD Fusion is a vehicle diagnostics tool that connects to OBD-II and EOBD vehicles. Not sure if your vehicle is OBD-2, EOBD or JOBD compliant? See this page for more information: https://www.obdsoftware.net/support/knowledge-base/how-do-i-know-whether-my-vehicle-is-obd-ii-compliant/. OBD Fusion works with some JOBD compliant vehicles and in some cases requires modifications to the connection settings in the app. Please contact us for more information. You must have a compatible scan tool to use this software. For recommended scan tools, see our website https://www.obdsoftware.net/software/obdfusion. Please note that cheap ELM clone adapters can be unreliable. OBD Fusion can connect to any ELM 327 compatible adapter, but the cheap clone adapters tend to have slow refresh rates and might disconnect randomly. Works well when it connects to a paired adapter. Problem is getting it to connect. Elm 237 Not sure but may be related to having internet access. Once I drive away from the house it often works when a cell connection is made. July 6, 2022 still fails to connect most times. Used the same adapter with others and connects easily but like this interface much better, just unusable

Edit 1/7/25: The change I initially objected to has been changed back to show a green check and "no codes", instead of screen full of text. Much easier to interpret at a glance. However, I'm still puzzled why once we're familiar with an app, apparently unnecessary, or actually counter-productive changes are made. I do really like the app and think it's very functional. I just like to keep it that way. I gave 5 stars for that....and the developer actua listening to users and incorporating input.

The new UI doesn't show as much info on the diagnostic page. It used to display what a code meant, but now it says something like "vendor code" instead of specific information. I have to tap into the DTC and then tap again to go to a web page that says what the code is.

edited for a response from developer. I emailed them asking for a list of adapters that would work with the Toyota enhanced, especially the TPMS. Purchased Toyota module, (for my Lexus IS350) worked for a week or 2. Now it says Incompatible with my Veepeak Bluetooth transmitter. Won't connect. Keeps trying to read tpms. Waste of $14.99.

it works quite well and it's stable but please add dashboard to Android Auto. It would be a great feature and would be applicable to a lot of different situations. Like a lot of motorcycles now have also Android Auto/Carplay support and having it would dramatically improve the available informations. There's nothing working on AA right now with a dashboard!

Great app but unless I'm missing something there is no option for gauges in Android Auto. That was my only reason for purchasing this app and it turns out it's the same output in Android Auto as the free app without paying. The output is delayed as well so much so that the RPM is back to idle before the increase even registers. I'm using a VEEPEAK adapter too, not one of those cheap ones so that's not the issue. I'm pretty disappointed but hopeful the devs will add gauges.

Unfortunately it appears this app does not support live misfire counts on GM vehicles. I'm using a suggested Bluetooth OBD2 adapter but it still tells me misfire counts are not supported. I discovered the free Car Scanner ELM OBD2 app does support live misfire counts on GM vehicles.

I purchased this car diagnostic program expecting it to include all the features I needed, as advertised. Unfortunately, after buying it, I discovered that I have to pay an additional $15 to access the essential services I assumed were already included in the initial price. This lack of transparency feels misleading and unfair. If you're considering purchasing this program, I highly recommend checking exactly what you're getting for the price to avoid disappointment.

works well. lots of customizations. LELink has issues if you only stop briefly, but seems to be the adaptor not the app. using on a Jaguar XJ8 x308.

App sucks it keeps disconnecting won't allow me to read the gauges for more than 30 seconds. Constantly stops working. Half the time won't even connect. It sucks.

App works very well, though there are a few quirks. 80% of the time connection is super quick. The other 20% I have to retry 3-8 times. I would love to see the ability to show minimum and maximum read values in addition to current value. Also the ability to have a gauge tile change color based on current value would be fantastic. Current version app, toyota module, kiwi 3 Bluetooth obd adapter
